Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

The Practice of Kinesiology and Strength and Conditioning at PROactive focuses on how we can help our bodies perform more efficiently and effectively in sport and in daily life.

Our Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Sports Coach has an extensive background in helping athletes and the general population achieve goals through the development of their physical and mental health.

We believe an individualized approach to program design is key to helping our clients rehab from injury, prevent further injury and progress physically to meet their specific needs and goals. Receiving one on one and small group services allow for a true athletic analysis of the individual for superior program design and coaching support. The team training services are great way to develop age appropriate athletic abilities, in-season strength and conditioning maintenance and team building.

During your initial appointment, we’ll first discuss your history and personal goals. This includes a needs analysis of your sport, current exercises, programming and activity, any injuries you’re being treated, current treatment methods, personal goals, and any other information that would be important in the rehabilitation and/or training process. In the gym we’ll conduct a movement analysis to assess body mechanics and skill level through appropriate exercises. Combining both sets of information, we’ll then be able to create and individualized plan that will best support your needs and goals.

Our Kinesiology | Strength & Conditioning Services include:

  • Clinical Kinesiology, including movement analysis and program review

  • Customized training programs

  • Coached Strength & Conditioning Sessions (one-on-one, small group, team)

  • Telehealth Consulting & Coaching Services
